Who are we?
Mr. Joseph Strauss the founder of Jess Co launched the fledgling company in 1958. His philosophy of moulding the company on the integrity and self-discipline of each employee and building the relationship with the customers on unequivocal and dedicated service, is still the legacy and bedrock of the now much larger enterprise.
The Jess Co. is the largest distributor of commercial and industrial ventilation equipment in the city of Montreal. It is a leader in indoor environment, offering a comprehensive inventory of HVAC controls, VAV boxes and systems, damper actuators, motorized valves and complimentary hardware. Jess also is the largest and the fastest growing wholesaler of steam humidifiers in Montreal.

The Organizational Depth
Jess Co. Ltd achieves its marketing goals through the diligent effort of its various specialized crews.
Jess engineering representatives mission is to get our products specified by the mechanical consulting engineers, “design build” contractors and the engineering staff of institutional end users such as utility companies, major banks, and industrial accounts. This assistance might take the form of providing specifications, wiring schematics, system drawings and general support.
The engineering staff conducts scheduled technical seminars to our clients on our premises in a dedicated classroom/laboratory environment
The technical sales force is well versed in the wide array of products. They keep in tune with the mechanical contractors and control contractors supporting them with regular visits, promoting new innovations, discussing projects, design…. Negotiating…. Always ready to advise, assist and help.
Our strength has, is and always will be our Service Department. We strive to respond efficiently, intelligently and promptly.
The manufacturing warehouse and dynamic service counter stock both finished products from manufacturer as well as built up products and systems. The multi million-dollar inventory provides our customer with products on demand.

Seminars Exhibitions and Education
Jess Co. regularly conducts technical seminars to consulting engineers and contractors. We participate actively as exhibitors in local commercial trade shows.
We organize and execute visits by consulting engineers and contractors to the factories of our suppliers both in Canada and the U.S.
